Scrooge and the gang are getting back together for an all-new music-filled adaptation of Dickens’ The Christmas Carol, coming to the Tato Laviera Theatre courtesy of The Harlem Rep. The seasonal classic about a crotchety old miser whose spirit is renewed after getting some timely ghostly visits has been updated with a score boasting holiday faves like “We Need a Little Christmas,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and “Joy to the World” and is set in contemporary Harlem.
