Join Ann Marie McDonnell, Director of Education at the Alice Austen House and Stacy Morrison, historian & photographer as they discuss the life and work of two progressive women, Sylvia DeWolf Ostrander and Alice Austen. Stacy Morrison’s recent project, “The Girl of My Dreams” traces the life of a Ostrander, a story discovered when Morrison found a small trunk with Ostrander’s belongings abandoned for garbage on a New York City street. Come and learn about these two women and how the work they left behind provides us with insight into the past. RSVP at [email protected] or 917-288-0343.
