In the spirit of Willy Wonka, the Adults & Children in Trust (A.C.T.) Summer Camp, at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, invites the community to its annual open house celebrating its 44th season on Tuesday, July 14 from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, 1047 Amsterdam Avenue (at 112th St.).
The Grand Camp Visiting Day will be taking place during one of the most thrilling events of the summer: Aqua Day. There will be plenty of ACTion and excitement for adults and children alike. The day’s FREE festivities feature:
- Game Assembly from 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Inflatable water rides from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Also throughout the day, there will be
- GaGa pit challenges
- Arts and crafts
- Sports games
- Insect-hunting in the garden
- And much more!
The event is open to the general public, as well as A.C.T. parents, children, and members. Hot dogs and cheese sandwiches will be served off the grill throughout the day, family reunion-style. Please RSVP to [email protected] by July 13 to reserve your spot.
