    This St. Patrick’s Day, celebrate by exploring Ireland’s connection to the music and dance traditions of West Africa and Appalachia with a rip-roaring evening of traditional Irish, old-time, and American folk traditions. New Ballards Branch Bogtrotters up from Galax, Virginia join the Green Fields of America and 1920s-inspired multi-instrumentalist Jerron “Blind Boy” Paxton, while Little Nora Brownwows us on her banjo with fiddler Stephanie Coleman.
