Wyckoff Farmhouse Presents

7th Annual Breukelen Country Fair

Saturday, September 22
1:00 – 5:00 pm

Bring the whole family for a day-long extravaganza of local growing, hands-on homesteading, and creativity that turns the traditional harvest festival on its ear and boasts an array of games, crafts, local food, music, demonstrations, and family-friendly workshops led by local partners.

Arrive by 1:30pm for a Puppet Show presented by City Parks Foundation’s PuppetMobile. Children 13 and under can take a tour of the farm on a pony ride! Celebrate Brooklyn’s rich history of growing with a local pop-up farmer’s market, seed swap, plant talks, and planting activities. Get your hands in the dirt, plant some seeds, press some cider, learn about honey bees, or have your face painted. Learn about colonial and urban homesteading with demonstrations of fiber arts, wampum making, and much more!

Don’t miss out on special activities and performances.

  • Pony Rides @ 2-4 PM
  • Puppet Show @ 2:30 PM
  • House Tours every 30 minutes from 1:30 to 4:30
  • Face Painting
  • Children’s Races
  • Caribbean Dancing

Finish off the day with a tour of New York City’s oldest house—not to be missed! Bring the whole family for a day of outdoor playing, learning and fun, celebrating the traditions, community, and agriculture of Breukelen!

Admission is free. Paid tickets are required for some activities and to purchase goods or food. Paid tickets and pony passes can only be purchased at the fair.
