BooksThe “Greenwich Village Antiquarian Book Fair” celebrates its 35th anniversary this February, at P.S. 3 in the West Village.  “The Hippie School” as its alternative education pioneers fondly nicknamed it in 1971 (and by which it is still known today) sponsors this event yearly to raise funds for the school’s inspired enrichment programs. After effects of Super Storm Sandy shortened the fair in 2013, they are thrilled to announce this year’s Fair is on for the traditional 3 days: Friday, Saturday & Sunday!

Come explore the world of paper! The Fair draws the East Coast’s best book dealers!

This 2-day fair offers both the serious bibliophile and the casual browser a delightful opportunity to peruse rare and vintage books spanning the 17th through 21st centuries, including children’s series and illustrated books, modern first editions, art, photography and design, maps & prints, political flyers, unusual paper ephemera and memorabilia; also Dickensiana, paleontology, architecture, autographs, African American studies, film history and comics.
