2018 Grand Central Terminal Holiday Fair

It’s time once again for the holiday offerings at Grand Central. As has been the norm, there’ll be plenty of shopping opportunities for all.

Saturday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Sunday: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm

Saturday, December. 24: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

New York, NY — Oct. 17, 2017 — Seven brand-new vendors join the collection of shops at New York City’s longest running indoor holiday market, The Grand Central Holiday Fair, which returns Monday, Nov. 13. For six weeks, half of Vanderbilt Hall will bring holiday cheer to visitors as 40 artisans sell art and home goods; holiday-themed items; bath and body products; toys; clothing and accessories for men, women, and children.

Since 1993, the Grand Central Holiday Fair has been a must-shop destination during the holiday season. Holiday Fair organizers make a concerted effort to present unique and local craftsmanship with a focus on American-made and handmade products with locally-sourced materials or a socially-conscious business model.

New Holiday Fair vendors include:

• Avant Garde Paris – The jewelry brand’s collections are comprised of limited-edition pieces handmade in Los Angeles, including leather-rope snake necklaces, silver-plated adjustable rings, and pewter-based earrings.
• Hazel Village – Jane Van Cleef founded this Brooklyn-based toy company in 2010. At first she made all the dolls by herself in her apartment in Brooklyn and sold them locally and on Etsy. Today, her dolls are made in partnership with highly skilled craftspeople in India. The dolls and kids clothing continues to be made in Brooklyn, allowing them to produce a wide variety of small-batch, seasonal outfits and employ a team of 11 women.
• Bleecker & Prince – Bleecker & Prince is a fine jewelry company by Leehe Segal founded in Israel five years ago before moving to New York two years ago. The designer uses top quality materials: 14K gold, natural diamonds, and precious stones.
• BG Artforms – Designer Barry Gross creates one-of-a-kind fine writing instruments using discarded and recycled material as the main theme. Gross was the first pen maker to use discarded circuit boards to create a pen and the only pen maker in the country to have a copyright granted to use watch parts, cigar labels, beer caps, and fishing fly lures to create fine writing instruments. His work incorporates shipwrecked coins, surgical knives, suture material, abalone shells, pheasant feathers, and other recycled or discarded material.
• Smathers & Branson – In 2004, while roommates at Bowdoin College, Peter Smathers Carter and Austin Branson decided to start a company that offered needlepoint belts. They had each been gifted a needlepoint belt from their then-girlfriends and became intrigued with these unique accessories. After looking to buy finished belts, they realized that there wasn’t a company that featured these timeless items,so they created their own.
• Malaya Organics – Malaya Organics manufactures and sells 100 percent natural skin care products handmade in Brooklyn using only organic, ethically sourced ingredients. Founder and formulator Katya has more than 15 years of experience in the skincare industry as a product developer and sales manager. She is also a master herbalist and certified in aromatherapy and product formulation.
• Kent Stetson – The designer began designing handbags in 2003 using digital prints of his artwork and photography. Since then, Stetson’s bags have become instantly recognizable statement pieces. Ranging from traditionally artistic to kitsch, there is a sense of humor in the DNA of the work.

The Holiday Fair runs Nov. 13 through Dec. 24. It is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for the following days and times: closed Thanksgiving, and open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24.
