Celebrities Show Their Support for Housing Project Through a VIP Fundraiser

(Tuesday, September 3, 2013, New York, NY) – Some of New York’s brightest young stars are coming out to celebrate the work of Bailey House on Friday, September 27, 2013 at LQNY. The event will help to raise funds for the organization, which has been providing housing to men, women and children dealing with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses since 1983. The event, presented by 3A Media and BAC Talent will feature a silent auction and musical performances by Diana DeGarmo, Ace Young, Steve Grand, Frankie Grande, Kelly King, Emma Hunton, and Cary Nokey.
For thirty years, Bailey House has provided supportive housing, food, access to health care and other services to those in need. Their STARS (Success Through Accessing Rental Assistance) program is a permanent supportive housing program for homeless or unstably housed HIV+ youth, ranging in age from 18-24. STARS has 28 residents in its care, with 8 units held for transgender youth. Bailey House is adding an additional 25 units in January of 2014 specifically for LGBT youth.
