With 31 states presently on New York State’s Travel Advisory Watch-list and record COVID-19 numbers throughout the United States it’s a good time to be watching how the numbers appear in as far as deaths, hospitalizations, cases and tests carried out are concerned.

Our daily update is published. States reported 798k tests and 65k new cases of COVID-19. States reported 1,037 deaths today, which was our fifth day in a row of more than 1,000 COVID-19 deaths in the United States.
Here’s the weekly view. Test growth and especially case growth has slowed this week. Current hospitalizations rose this week despite problems getting the data from hospitals. States reported 6,297 COVID-19 deaths this week, up more than 1,000 from last week.
