Cope2-ExhibitionFor the first time, Azart Gallery in Chelsea will be presenting a solo exhibition by Cope2. This world renowned legend of street art will be showing his latest new works, striking in color and originality.

An American artist of Puerto Rican descent, Cope2 is a self-taught visionary who has been a celebrated figure for over 30 years in the graffiti art culture. Known for his trademark bubble letters and tags, he started developing his style in the subways and streets of the Bronx and later became a universally respected street artist who is one of today’s leaders in the Urban Art scene.

“Natural Instinct”, his first solo show at the gallery, will feature Cope2′ s new body of work that showcases a different direction for the artist.

Based purely on abstract forms and detached from graffiti and lettering, he incorporates a complex multi-layered and colorful imagery by superimposing shapes and patterns in his paintings. Cope2 invites the viewer to discover his world with a refreshing new perspective on his talent.
