This expansive presentation of Chris Burden’s work marks the first New York survey of the artist and his first major exhibition in the US in over twenty-five years. Occupying the entire Museum and featuring a dynamic installation on the Museum’s façade and roof, the exhibition offers an extraordinary opportunity to examine the many ways in which Burden has continuously pushed limits by investigating the breaking point of materials, institutions, and even himself.
