This image taken from the outlook area near Belvedere Castle include some great features. One of which is Turtle Pond which you’ll see has quite the amount of algae growing atop of it. Beyond this body of water is the Great Lawn on which hundreds of folks would congregate for a suntan or leisure stroll during the wonderful days of Spring, Summer or Autumn. Of course in Winter instead of seeing them stroll you just might catch a few here and there cross country skiing. As I’ve said in the past. Give us New Yorkers a huge snow storm and what’d we do? Well, rush out to the nearest white lawn with ski gear in tow. These things I’ve mentioned are mere bits and pieces of what makes New York City what it is. The attitude, the desires, the passion and so very much more. Here’s hoping that you’ll continue to follow along with us through our visual adventures.
