Annual San Gennaro Feast in New York City’s Little Italy

September 14 – 24, 2023

An old image gallery with photos taken long ago is at the bottom of this page.

Feast of San Gennaro takes place on Mulberry between Canal and Houston; and on Grand Street between Hester and Centre Street as well as on Hester between Centre and Baxter. This festival has always been a favorite of yours truly as well as of so many other New Yorkers.

Grand Marshall for this year is actress Kathrine Narducci.

Features: Food, games, rides, concessions, entertainment, parade, and religious procession are offered up at this well-loved festival in Little Italy. Indoor and outdoor dining at many of Little Italy’s most famous Italian restaurants. Plenty of licensed street vendors selling international foods, and souvenirs.

The street festivities – including parades, entertainment, food stands plus a cannoli-eating and meatball eating contest – are finished on September 24th.
