America’s Re-Connection With the Rest of the World – What’s to Come?

“Will be wonderful and interesting to see how the international re-connection unfurls over the coming days and weeks.

When the world looked upon us to lead, we were absent. Now, we’re back.”

“But is it too late,” someone asked.

To that, I say,

“When NY suffered through that COVID Spring of 2020, we recovered beautifully (albeit painfully). We SHOULD have been an example to the rest of the nation. Yet we were horribly divided without leadership and the country’s state of health and mind suffered.

America has led the world in experiencing the worst of this pandemic – through the number of deaths and infections. IF we can come out of it quickly enough and strongly enough THEN we SHOULD be an example just as New York actually was.

Maybe this time around, the world will listen just as the rest of America should have and then, we can assuredly lead once again.”
