Alice Austen House

The Alice Austen House promotes public awareness and scholarly study regarding the life and work of Alice Austen (1866 – 1952). Also known as Clear Comfort the house was once home to Alice Austen who was a photographer. The house is now a museum dedicated to her memory and is also recognized as a New York City landmark.
