The African Burial Ground National Monument is a site in Lower Manhattan’s Civic Center District which contains the remains of over 400 African buried there in the 17th and 18th centuries within a 6.6 acre burial. At the site there exists an indoor visitor center and exhibition and an outdoor memorial.

There is no fee for visiting this locale but donations are encouraged.
