Join Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), Barrie Raffel, for an hour of active-but-gentle outdoor a subtle, thoughtful way. Green-Wood’s rich history and quiet, picturesque grounds allow a uniquely calming atmosphere to practice connecting our bodies to all our senses. There’s no New York City landscape as peaceful. Enjoy a true respite from the hustle of the city!
Bring a mat, water, washcloth or small towel and wear comfortable clothing. After the session, stay for a short walk to one of Green-Wood’s stunning views for a relaxing breakfast picnic. Tea, coffee and light snacks are generously provided by Baked In Brooklyn.
WHERE: Historic Green-Wood Cemetery– Meet at the main entrance
25th Street at 5th Avenue, Brooklyn
Take the “R” train to 25th Street in Brooklyn and walk up the hill one block and into the Cemetery. Free parking is available.
ADMISSION: $20 per session for members of the Green-Wood Historic Fund and members of the Brooklyn Historical Society and $25 per session for the general public.
