Join New York Restoration Project’s Harlem River Festival and Row New York’s Peter Jay Sharp Regatta and spend a day celebrating NYC’s Harlem River! Take part in free festival activities for the whole family.
Festival activities will include arts & crafts, food vendors, live entertainment, nature hikes, walk-up kayaking, seine fishing and much more. (*Available on first-come, first-served basis.)
A favorite among thousands of New York City families, the festival emphasizes the exploration of Swindler Cove’s magnificently restored wetlands, indigenous plant and animal life, freshwater pond and Riley-Levin Children’s Garden.
Regional rowing clubs will race along the Harlem River and winners will be awarded medals throughout the morning. Row New York will even provide learn-to-row activities for children and adults.
