    For more than 50 years, singer, songwriter and trombonist Willie Colon has been writing and performing music that blurs the lines between jazz, rock and salsa, releasing more than 60 albums over the course of his career. Raised in The Bronx by parents who’d moved from Puerto Rico, Colon’s work incorporates the rhythms of traditional music of his ancestors as well as Cuban, Brazilian and African beats. In Asalto Navideño at New York’s Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, Colon celebrates the holidays with traditional Christmas hits like “Canto a Borinquen,” “La Murga Panameña” and “Arbolito” among many others.
