On February 23rd, the National Lighthouse Museum will welcome Commander Timothy R. Dring USNR (Ret.) who will speak to us on the USLHS Depot’s role in the development of buoys and buoy-tending boats.

Commander Dring will focus on the evolutionary changes in the designs and technology of the types of lighted and unlighted USLHS channel buoys, and on the small boats that were designed and built by the Depot for the purpose of tending buoys.

Tickets are $10 for guests. Museum members pay no admission charge.
