    Discover the natural world amid a thriving urban industrial park on this bus tour of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Explore New York City’s waterways, terrestrial ecosystems and urban farms. Learn how Brooklyn Grange’s stunning 65,000-square-foot rooftop farm produces 20,000 pounds of vegetables annually – as well as honey and eggs – and are a national leader in the development of rooftop and urban farming techniques. Hear about the health of the city’s waterways on a visit to an oyster restoration project led by a local school.
