    Two Sides Sounding presents the premiere of Daniel Felsenfeld’s Bruce Bailey, an “urban cantata” on the life and times of the late tenants’ rights activist, the opera scene Stop and Frisk by Sidney Marquez Boquiren, a look at two childhood friends in conflict over a police incident, and the premiere of Ellen Mandel’s poignant and introspective song cycle HAIKU NYC (all three pieces have text by Daniel Neer), plus songs by Daron Hagen, Gabriel Kahane, Ray Lustig, Gilda Lyons, Rachel Peters and William Bolcom.

    With performances by Eleanor Taylor (soprano), Brandon Snook (tenor), Daniel Neer (baritone), Jorell Williams (baritone), Mila Henry (piano), Lynn Bechtold (violin), Jennifer DeVore (cello) and Ted Gorodetzky (director & multimedia composition.)
