Auditions for the Trinity Youth Chorus are open for children ages 8-18, January 7-10, by appointment. The audition is one-on-one, low-pressure, and no preparation is required.
This culturally diverse choir offers children the opportunity to be part of a serious choral program that is devoted to disciplined music-making and fosters the formation of character and engaged citizenship. The Trinity Youth Chorus is led by experienced, dedicated professional musicians who teach vocal technique, sight singing, music theory, and history.
Children meet after school for rehearsals once a week and perform in two annual concerts, occasional TrinityChurch Sunday services, and special events throughout the city and beyond. This is not a religious program; youth are welcomed from any or no faith tradition. No prior musical training is required. Free.
