    The Workmen’s Circle’s Taste of Jewish Culture Street Fair is a signature event that brings together thousands of foodies and dozens of purveyors of delicious food for a day of eating, learning, and celebrating in New York.

    We’re proud to partner with some of New York’s finest restaurants including Baz Bagel & Restaurant, Black Seed Bagels, Breads Bakery, Brooklyn Seltzer Boys with Gefilteria , Brooklyn Sesame, Court Street Grocers, Dassara Brooklyn Ramen,  Kossar’s Bialys, La Newyorkina, Marani Glatt Kosher Georgian Restaurant, Mile End Deli, OddFellows Ice Cream Co., Sage Kitchen, Scharf & Zoyer, Shelsky’s Smoked Fish, Taim, and more.

    Food isn’t the only thing on the menu—the Street Fair will also feature klezmer music by Paul Shapiro’s Ribs and Brisket RevueFrank London’s Klezmer Brass All Stars with Eleanor Reissa. Plus, special appearances by Nikitov from HollandKlezmerson from Mexico and klezmer dancing in the street with Steve Weintraub.  This year’s Street Fair will include book signings with Leah Koenig, author of “Modern Jewish Cooking: Recipes & Customs for Today’s Kitchen,” and Jordan Schaps, co-author of “Eating Delancey: A Celebration of Jewish Food.”

    The 2015 Taste of Jewish Culture Street Fair is presented in partnership with KulturfestNYC, which is bringing together major Jewish arts organizations from around the world to New York for eight full days and nights of plays, concerts, films, and lectures, from June 14 – 21.
