    The Seaport Film and Food Festival

    A four-week international film and food series in partnership with LW Productions, returns to the Seaport District after a successful inaugural season in 2014. For four consecutive Fridays this July – a delicious array of complimentary food samples and drinks highlighting a different country will be served from 7:00pm, followed by an outdoor free screening of an acclaimed international film at the Front/Row screen at sundown, both located at Fulton and Water Streets.

    The scheduled four screenings are as follows:

    Friday, July 10 – “Touch of the Light” (Taiwan). 2012 drama directed by Jung-chi Chang (110 minutes – Mandarin with English subtitles) presented by Taiwan Ministry of Culture, Coco Tea NY Inc. and A-Pou’s Taste.

    Friday, July 17 – “Waking Ned Devine” (Ireland). 1998 comedy directed by Kirk Jones (91 minutes – English) presented by Ryan Maguire’s and Little W Productions.

    Friday, July 24 – “Capturing Dad” (Japan). 2012 drama directed by Ryota Nakano (74 minutes – Japanese with English subtitles) presented by Sunrise Mart and Peace and Love Film Festival.

    Friday, July 31 – “Wadjda” (Saudi Arabia). 2012 Comedy, Drama written and directed by Haifaa Al-Mansour (98 minutes – Arabic with English subtitles) presented by Alfanoose and Little W.
