    Theater for the New City

    Theater for the New City is Having its 22rd annual Lower East Side Festival of the Arts. We encourage all those who Love Theater and all forms of art, to attend this Free and important Festival.

    The Lower East Side festival of the arts was created by Volunteer Artists who understand the challenges the economy has on us all and because of this, once a year, Theater for the New City’s Lower East Side Festival of the Arts Committee members, find over 350 Artists to perform for free, for the East Village community.

    Children and young Artists from 7 yrs and up will also be performing and showing their talents, Saturday Afternoon May 27th.Our young minds are the future of our world and it is important to make sure they are heard and show their creativity as much as possible.
    It is a lot of work and it is not easy but we love doing it and will continue to welcome new Playwrights, Artists, Dancers, Film makers, Visual Artists and talents of all ages to come.
