Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Louis Armstrong’s concert at the 1964 World’s Fair. The first annual Louis Armstrong International Music Festival features live music, dancing, and a food truck rally just south of the Unisphere! You are also invited to a Jazz Soiree with Catherine Russell that kicks off the exhibit: Ambassador Satchmo at the World’s Fair—Celebrating 50 Years from 4–6 PM in the Queens Museum. Join us for a wonderful afternoon in Louis’ local park, Flushing Meadows Corona Park!
