Stable Cable Lab Co. (Producer, Margaret Santa Maria) will present the World Premiere of Max Baker’s The Conspiracists at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, Buzzer 3B) April 22-May 7 with performances on Sat 4/22, 4/29 & 5/6 at 7:30pm, Mon 4/24, Wed 4/26, Thu 4/27, Fri 4/28, Mon 5/1, Wed 5/3, Thu 5/4 & Fri 5/5 at 7pm and Sun 4/23, Sat 4/29, Sun 4/30, Sat 5/6 & Sun 5/7 at 3pm. Tickets ($18 in advance; $20 at the door) may be purchased at www.stablecablelabco.org. The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.
Set in a church basement, this World Premiere play follows an under-35 Conspiracy Theorist Support Group as they wrestle with their convictions, perceptions, and each other’s personalities. The Conspiracists reveals how much we are influenced by other people, and how little we think we are.
Whether you believe in Chem-trails, tainted fluoride, UFO’s, Inside Jobs, The Mandela Effect, JFK plots, or that Justin Beiber is a reptilian, The Conspiracists is sure to challenge your reality in ways you won’t expect.
The cast will feature Lisa Jill Anderson, Sofiya Cheyenne, Alice Johnson, Arthur Kriklivy, Ricki Lynée, and Ian Poake with Sound Design by Andy Evan Cohen, Scenic Design by Ian Poake, and Lighting Design by Jeremiah Stuart.
