As part of the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Gracie Mansion and accompanying the exhibition New York 1942, Bronx native and urban planner in the Office of the Bronx Borough President Sam Goodman will lead a tour of the Grand Concourse. Goodman will provide a history of the Grand Concourse, highlighting the impact of the 1940’s, and explain the development of its diverse communities.
