Blowing up of the Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloons
The following details are from a previous years but doubtful to be any different this year.
Starting at and around 3:00 – 4:00 pm and lasting to about 10:00 pm
Central Park West and Columbus Avenue on 77th and 81st Streets
We’ve been to this event numerous times in the past and it appeared that with every passing year it only got bigger and bigger and bigger! Bigger, that is, in the numbers of folks and their kiddies attracted to the happening. Last time we visited there were wall to wall people and it was extraordinarily difficult to move easily. Thus we’ve never returned. Perhaps things have changed since then? Regardless, it definitely something everyone should try at least once.
Keep in mind how the temperatures may very well be chilly so dress accordingly!
