Sunday Meeting – Adrian Hyde: Regenerative Agriculture at the Nexus
Sunday, April 22, 2018 – 11:00 am
2 West 64th Street
Ceremonial Hall – 4th floor
What we eat and how it is grown have profound implications on human health, ecology, animal welfare and local economies. In this discussion, we’ll take a high-level tour through the intersections of agriculture and each of these areas, taking a few dives into the weeds along the way. There will be numerous references for further learning.
Adrian Hyde is Executive Director of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (https://nofanj.org). He also owns and runs a certified organic vegetable and berry farm in Hopewell, New Jersey (http://dunwald.farm). Adrian received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his master’s degree from Harvard. He is a strong proponent of regenerative agricultural systems.
