Event begins in Brooklyn at the Ikea Parking Lot 9 (1 Beard Street) and ends at the corner of West and Murray Streets in Lower Manhattan.
With a length of about 3.5 miles, this race has been going on for quite some time since 2001 and raises money for charity. It began with a mere couple thousand and has grown into an event that draws tens of thousands with a version taking place in multiples of other cities.
