Bring your family and sense of adventure to play:ground NYC and give your children the chance to #FreeYourPlay, explore their imaginations, and engage in outside free play. While the kids are playing, parents will have the opportunity to speak with Kamik brand representatives to learn about the Kamik Fall/ Winter 2019 collection– the perfect footwear to #FreeYourPlay at home – and the benefits of outdoor free play from play:groundNYC.
Kamik’s #FreeYourPlay initiative encourages families to rediscover the fun and freedom of unstructured play by providing them with accessible, simple ideas to help their children develop their creativity through playing outside, freely.
Play:groundNYC is a non-profit organization advocating for young people’s rights by providing playworker-run environments that encourage risk-taking, experimentation and freedom through self-directed play. We operate The Yard – New York City’s only adventure playground on Governors Island, and work with communities to establish their own neighborhood playgrounds and play initiatives.
