A day of jazz at Snug Harbor continues with the 28th annual Staten Island Jazz Festival featuring world-class performers and leaders in the field such as Hamiet Bluiett, Betty Shirley, Leopoldo Fleming, Danny Nixon, Vinnie Ruggieri, Karlus Trapp, Winard Harper, Bob Kaiser and more.
Details on free workshops available to the public the day of the event are as follows:
- 10:30am to 11:30am – G202 – Dance Workshop (Mickey Davidson)
- 11:30am to 12:30pm – G202 – Music Workshop (David Jones)
- 11:30am to 12:30pm – Randall Room – Vocal Workshop (Betty Shirley)
- 12:30pm to 1:30pm – Randall Room – Jazz Panel (Moderator TBD – history and future of Jazz)
