“Join us for a celebration of fifty years of the South Street Seaport Museum! For half a century, the Museum has highlighted and interpreted New York’s port and its seaborne connections to the world. On September 19, we mark the first five decades of the Seaport Museum and celebrate the people who have made this work possible. Through unparalleled leadership and the tireless efforts of trustees, staff, volunteers, and friend the Seaport Museum has achieved this major milestone and we now turn our attention to the next fifty years. Join friends of the Seaport Museum for cocktails aboard the ship Wavertree, followed by a dockside dinner catered by Cipriani to toast fifty years of good work and many more to come!”
