    Sixth Annual Holiday Handmade Cavalcade

    Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYC

    Saturday, December 14 & Sunday, December 15, 2013

Holiday Handmade CavalcadeNEW YORK, NY (Nov. 14, 2013) – Whoosh! Did you hear that? That was the sound of the holiday season setting in and with it the time to begin hunting for the perfect gifts for loved ones. Luckily, the Holiday Handmade Cavalcade, put on by the Etsy NY Team, a collective of local artisans and crafters who sell on the online handmade marketplace, will take place just in time to help shoppers find just the right present for everyone on their list.

In its sixth year, The Holiday Handmade Cavalcade will feature more than 40 vendors from the Etsy NY Team and showcase one-of-a-kind goods ranging from handmade clothing, jewelry, accessories, paper goods, bath and body products, toys and housewares. Stop in at The Space at 50 N. 3rd St in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on December 14th and 15th from 10am – 5pm to shop some amazing wares. All Etsy NY Team members are locally-based designers and artisans.

“What originally started as a chat at the Brooklyn Flea, grew into a whole group of artists and NY Etsy vendors rallying together to share cars and band together to promote and organize a DIY event that showcased the mission of Etsy,” says Kimm Alfonso, Founder of Etsy NY. “It has grown and changed to reflect the amazing talents and resources of the present team providing an organic feeling also aligned with the mission of the original Cavalcade vendors and of the expanding network of artists and Etsy sellers in the Tri-State area.”

Each year the Holiday Handmade Cavalcade hosts more than 2,000 people and has become a great New York City winter tradition for those looking for local and unexpected holiday products. In addition to the high-quality, handmade wares for sale, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in raffles, interact with our event sponsors, and munch on delectable treats and drinks from local food vendors.

Admission to this indie shopping event is free. Make sure to arrive early: the first 100 guests both Saturday and Sunday will receive a complimentary gift bag filled with wonderful treasures donated by the Etsy NY Team and the event sponsors.
