    Silent Movie Night Gets Spooky at Marble Collegiate Church Featuring Iconic Horror Film, The Phantom of the Opera

    Just in time for Halloween, Marble Collegiate Church will feature one of the greatest horror classics of all time: The Phantom of the Opera. Starring the legendary Lon Chaney, Sr., the “Man of a Thousand Faces,” whose stunning transformation as the Phantom is still revered by film enthusiasts, the silent film brought many screams and even caused audiences to faint during climatic scenes.

    Silent Movie Night: Halloween Edition, The Phantom of the Opera will also feature a special live performance from renowned accompanist Peter Krasinski, whose unique improvised scores will put a modern twist on a beloved classic. From silent film lovers to New Yorkers seeking a spooky thrill, the evening will offer viewers a cinematic experience unlike any other.
