In this new musical adventure based on the popular PBS KIDS® television series, Sid and his friends take an incredible journey through the five senses: sight, sound, taste, smell and touch, and discover that there’s a very special super duper sixth sense! Join Sid, Gabriela, Gerald, May, and Teacher Suzie as they explore, ask questions, and share lots of interactive moments with the audience through special sensory effects that fill the theater. Featuring music from the hit TV show and content based in national science learning, this high-energy musical will bring out the curious scientist in every child.
Following the performance, BCBC will host its seventh annual National Grid Earth Day Celebration on the plaza outside Walt Whitman Theatre. Featuring interactive family activities, educational materials, street performers and giveaways, this free community festival will highlight the need for conserving energy, recycling, and heightening awareness of the environmental global issues that we face today.
