The Queens Night Market is partnering with Industry City to bring you “Shop, Rock & Roll” on September 9th from 5pm to midnight.
Everyone is encouraged to come dressed up as their favorite rock stars or in their favorite concert superfan gear, whether or not they plan to enter the costume contests (see below).
The event will be FREE and open to the public, and will feature an indoor/outdoor market filled with 20+ popular food vendors, booze, and a host of local artists and merchandise vendors.
The entertainment will be fun and interactive, with DJ Mateo DiFontaine, COSTUME CONTESTS (with prizes for Best Hair, Best Rock Star Lookalike, Best Concert Gear), LIVE BAND KARAOKE (brought to you by Rock Star Karaoke NYC), GROUP MUSIC VIDEO SING-ALONGS (led by SecretFormula), AIR GUITAR COMPETITIONS, and more.
There will be Make-Up and Hair-Styling Stations, a Rock & Roll Photo Booth, and a MIX TAPE/CD SWAP STATION, where you can drop off and pick up a random mix tape from the past!
