    Second Annual Older Adults Day

A Great Day for Older Adults!

    Wednesday, September 28

Queens Library’s Older Adult Services Program is proud to present our second annual Older Adults Day, which will feature FREE health screenings, live entertainment, and information on healthcare, benefits and other important topics specifically for adults over the age of 50.

In addition to special seminars and activities, there will be 20 organizations present at Older Adults Day—including City Meals, LiveOn NY, North Shore LIJ Cancer Services, SNAP Senior Center, St. John’s Pharmacy Students (Ask the Pharmacist), Queens Library Mail-a-Book, and more—to talk with our guests about available resources for older adults.

We hope you will join us on Wednesday, September 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Glen Oaks Community Library at 256-04 Union Turnpike.

Older Adults Day is funded by Madeleine Long and the Irma and Harry Long Program to Enhance Senior Living.
