    “”Don’t miss this beautiful and unique concert based on famous operatic couples who are deeply in love.  The first three works are excerpts from Western operas, while the Butterfly Lovers Concerto is based on melodies from Chinese opera, with the solo violin played by Nancy Zhou. The happy love story of Ruslan and Lyudmila revolves around the ancient city of Kyiv with a tableau of the city and the celebration of the Motherland. The rest of our couples share a tragic fate: Tristan and Isolde, Butterfly and Pinkerton and Zhu and Liang.  Maestro Martin Majkut conducts the Queens Symphony Orchestra.””
