Brooklyn-Puppetry Arts New York will host its 11th Annual Haunted Halloween Carnival on Saturday October 31 11am-3pm. The first 200 kids will receive a FREE trick-or-treat bag filled with goodies. Special guests include a visit by Star Wars characters from the 501st Empire City Garrison and Echo Base Rebel Legion. Helping to celebrate the event will be Tuffy Tiger performing songs from his new album Songs & Music For Me. The event will have puppet-themed arts and crafts including spooky shadow puppets, carnival games and prizes, a bouncy castle, and Puppetry Arts famous kid-friendly haunted house. The event is free and open to the public. Activities cost $2.00 to $5.00 where you can decorate your own Puppetry Arts tote bag, make your own play dough, or get your face painted. There will be tons of free activities including Big Apple Circus, Green Mountain Energy, Regal Cinemas, Fire Safety, are more! The organization always provides free costumes to in-need families through partnerships with area shelters and foster care programs at the event as well. Tons of fun for the whole family for less then the cost of one movie ticket! The event is located at the 1st Street Recreation Center of 1st Street at 4th Ave, Park Slope.
