    Premiere of The Study and Artist’s Talk at the Alice Austen House

    Join us for a reception unveiling of The Shadwell Study, a lounge at the museum for perusing art and photography journals. The Study is a place for artists, researchers, and museum visitors to explore the latest art publications and learn more about Alice Austen through photographs, articles and books that give context to her work. During the reception, artist Yola Monakhov Stockton, whose work is featured in their current exhibition, Fields of Inquiry, will be discussing her work and her forthcoming publication, The Nature of Imitation.
