Think you can out-act Keanu Reeves? Point Break Live gives one lucky audience member the chance to prove it. Before each hilariously action-packed show, the groundbreaking role of Special Agent Johnny Utah is cast from the audience in an “Are U Keanu?” contest. The lucky winner takes the lead in a wet, wild and wacky stage re-creation of the 1991 Keanu Reeves/Patrick Swayze EXTREME surf action flick, Point Break. If you haven’t seen it, all you need to know is that Keanu goes undercover to infiltrate Patrick Swayze’s gang of surfing bank robbers, and absolute insanity ensues. It’s New York’s raddest show, and it comes with all the bank robbing, surfing, skydiving, survival kits and meatball sandwiches that B.B. King Blues Club can handle, plus some special surprises that only a live event can provide.
