Park Slope & Red Hook Family Festivals with Puppetry Arts

The Brooklyn-based non profit theatre Puppetry Arts will be hosting their annual spring festivals in Park Slope and Red Hook Brooklyn inviting the whole community to experience adventure, games, and puppets!
In Park Slope, the 5th Avenue Family Festival will be held Saturday April 26th 11am-3pm at 4th Street and 5th Ave of Park Slope (along the Old Stone House). Activities include rock climbing with Brooklyn Boulders, meet n’ greets with the UniverSoul Circus Clown Onionhead, and performances by Dancewave!
PS 15 of Red Hook will host Puppetry Arts’ annual Red Hook Family Festival on Saturday May 3 12noon-3pm at 71 Sullivan Street and VanBrunt. The event also includes the PS 15 Flea Market, juggle shows, and performances by Dancewave!
Both events have free admission and open the public rain or shine. $2.00 hands-on crafts, carnival games, and snacks, $4.00 Bounce House, $4.00 tee shirt designing, $6.00 rock climbing. Tickets for activities are $1.00 each and will be available at the entrance of the events. Raffles include prizes from Madame Tussauds, Regal Cinemas, Elope, and more!
All funding raised from these events will be used to support free cultural programs in area schools and youth shelters.
Tuffy Tiger of “That’s What Tuffy Tigers Do” book and web series will be on site at both events sharing some of his best stories and songs.
