Opening Celebration for Piers 3 & 4 Uplands at Brooklyn Bridge Park
Saturday, November 16 at 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Head on over to Brooklyn Bridge Park for the opening of Piers 3 and 4 Uplands on Saturday, November 16th with music by the Hungry March Band, family-friendly activities and staff-led tours. A short speaking program with local elected officials will begin at 10:30 am. Festivities will end at 1:00 pm.
Adding six new acres of parkland, the uplands of Piers 3 and 4 include the final connection of the parkwide greenway, incredible views of the New York Harbor and skyline, expansive lawns, a sweeping granite terrace, and the first of the park’s sound attenuating hills.
Please enter at Pier 5 and walk north or enter at Pier 1 and walk south past the Pier 2 Pop-Up Pool. Keep an eye out for the blue tents!
