Spencer Battiest Performs
in front of the National Museum of the American Indian
August 3, 2017
Award winning and proud member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Spencer Battiest carries his soulful R&B voice to New York City in an outdoor concert on the cobblestones in front of the Museum’s George Gustav Heye Center. In 2013, Spencer became the first American Indian artist to sign with Hard Rock Records. Along with his brother “Doc” their single release of “The Storm” garnered their first Best Music Video win at the American Indian Film Institute in San Francisco, CA. In September of 2016 Battiest took home “Best Pop Recording” at the Native American Music Awards in New York for his Album entitled “Stupid in Love”. Enjoy the summer heat and dance to the rhythm of music brought on by Spencer Battiest.
