Celebrate National Manufacturing Day on a guided tour at the Yard focused on interiors and fabricators. The tour will begin with an introduction to the Yard’s history – both past and present – with an emphasis on the diverse array of products, goods, and objects designed and fabricated onsite over the last two centuries. Next, visitors will get a sneak peek into a fully operational factory floor and have the opportunity to speak directly to some of the entrepreneurs redefining manufacturing and making at the Yard today. Tour is great for anyone interested in art, design, craft, and manufacturing as well as those interested in history and the continued social and economic impact of the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
