‘PS2001: SPACE ODDITY’

Featuring Live Performances, Djs, Dancing, And Artistic Costumes

Long Island City, NY, October 11, 2017 – On Saturday, October 28, MoMA PS1 and legendary nightlife host Susanne Bartsch will present the Sixth Annual Halloween Ball at MoMA PS1. The event will take place throughout the entire museum, VW Dome, and MoMA PS1 courtyard. This year’s out-of-this-world theme, “PS2001: Space Oddity,” is inspired by futuristic fantasies that explore the vast reaches of the creative cosmos.

From 8pm to midnight, guests will experience live performances by Julie Atlas Muz, Fou York, Fightclubny, Sateen, Sister Dimension, Shequida, Leonid the Magnificant, Cornelius Loy, and Sandflower. The Sixth Annual Halloween Ball event will also feature DJ sets by Eli Escobar, W Jeremy, Amber Valentine, and Bridget Marie Zazaza Disco. The museum’s galleries will be open for visitors to view special exhibitions, and cash bars will serve beer, wine, cocktails, and a signature punch.

The event is hosted by Animal X, Korakrit Arunanondchai, Klaus Biesenbach, Raul de Nieves, Peter Eleey, Angela Goding, Lypsinka, Ryan McNamara, Eliza Ryan, Sam Roeck, Jacolby Satterwhite, Casey Spooner, BCALLA, Imogene Strauss, Amanda Lepore, KAIMIN, TABBOO!, Stewart Uoo, and David Velasco.

Tickets for the Sixth Annual Halloween Ball are $18 in advance, or $20 day-of. Creative and fantastic costumes inspired by the “PS2001: Space Oddity” theme are encouraged. More information is available at mo.ma/halloween.
