    Come paint, build, craft, or collage – use familiar materials, or experiment with new! Inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and local artists, MOCACREATE explores different themes every month. Free with Museum admission!

    Garment workers have always been a large part of Chinatown’s identity and community. Learn about their experiences as you work alongside other visitors to create a collaborative tapestry or individual weaving that reflects on your contributions to the rich fabric of MOCA and the Chinatown community. Use a variety of cloth, yarn, ribbons, and beads to construct your weaving. What will your tapestry represent?
